A welding table kit that we designed and had laser cut for our own shop use as well as for sale to consumers.

A flat table is critical for welding and metal fabrication, so we designed this welding table to be laser cut from 0.25" steel. They are available for purchase as a weld together kit or assembled. 

The side plates and internal structure are designed to slot together in a grid pattern to add rigidity to the top plate and keep it flat. 

Here you can see the grid pattern from the underside of the table. The holes are designed to be used with 5/8" and 16mm dia clamps and welding tooling.

We had small plates cut that we could bolt through the tabletop, to clamp the grid structure together keeping all the pieces square and the top flat while welding.

The corner supports we welded in are for the table legs, they are gusseted for added strength.

Most tables have boxed-in sections for the corners, but we wanted to be able to bolt to any section of the table, so we opted for open corners.
